New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Behind-the-Scenes Video
The entire Star Wars: The Force Awakens cast
reunited at Comic-Con on Friday evening, and spent much of their panel
discussing the practical effects that will fill J.J. Abrams’s upcoming
film. But you don’t have to just take their word for it, as Disney and
Lucasfilm also showed a mouth-watering behind-the-scenes video to
showcase the incredible work that is going into the highly anticipated
film.
In
the video, which you can watch above, we get first glimpses characters
both old and new, includingCarrie Fisher’s Princess Leia makes her first
Force Awakens on-set appearance.

Meanwhile, Simon Pegg is revealed to play some sort of costumed creature (a small role that he is very giddy about):
And there’s a bunch of characters we know nothing about (although one looks like a mutated
Harley Quinn):
Also awesome: The First Order Stormtroopers swarming a planet that looks a bit like Endor…
And then getting tossed into the air via explosions:
And the Millennium Falcon, freshly rebuilt for this film, in all its glory!
And here’s a nice little scoop: Not only does Han show Rey the ropes on the ‘ol rust bucket…
She ends up flying it herself:
