Mr. Hamill, you seem like a nice guy and I'm a lifelong fan of your work, so if you ever happen to see this, try to grasp what I'm saying here and pass it along to every other celeb you know. You have free speech and are in a huge position of power, as it pertains to influence based on your work as an actor. BUT when you get political, you are abusing your power because you did not get into that position based on your skills as a political pundit. Don't be a bully, fight fair! Make an anonymous Twitter account and then duke it out in the arena of ideas. You will not find yourself getting 19,000 likes, I assure you. You will be in the same boat as matt and the rest of us who are not super-successful political commentators. You will find that many of the foot soldiers that you do battle with in this info war, will have gotten much more support than you after the same amount of time. When you both begin at the place you have earned that is... the same starting line.

The Last Jedi 'ruined' Star Wars for me going forward - Movie Review & Angry Rant | Fun Catharsis

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi made me angry. It's shallowly subversive and self-aware, mocking its predecessor to be "Bold," while offering little in return. I rant, yell, and review it for 30 minutes to achieve some fun catharsis, but I also understand why critics and fans love it. Hopefully, we'll find common ground. I instantly felt it was the worst Star Wars film, but maybe I'll look back on this video as overly harsh. Judging how split the fan reactions have been, compared to the critics, I'm not alone in my thoughts! The Last Jedi already has a lot of backlash, but I need to vent! Rian Johnson, please, don't take this personally... There are calm compliments in the review. Skip to 29:35 for my star rating and Pros/Cons!

You mentioned that Luke Skywalker gave you hope as you walked through darkness. My only advice to you would be to keep in mind during any future dark days you might have that YOU are the light that keeps others — often total strangers — out there going. I guarantee you that there are people over the years that you've had a profound effect on without even knowing it. There are people who love you and pray for you that you'll never meet, but they are out there. If you have emulated Luke throughout your life, then you are most definitely somebody's hero.
